By accessing or using Sano, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.
Sano is an AI-powered language learning platform that provides speaking practice sessions with AI tutors. Our service includes voice and text-based practice, pronunciation assessment, feedback on grammar and vocabulary, and progress tracking. Sano currently focuses on Finnish, calibrated to CEFR and YKI levels, with more languages planned.
To use Sano, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use Sano.
Sano offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through the App Store, Google Play, or our web billing, powered by RevenueCat. Prices are in EUR and may vary by region. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis, and for App Store or Google Play purchases are subject to their respective refund policies. You can manage your subscription from the Billing page in your account settings or through your device's app store.
You agree to use Sano only for its intended purpose: language learning and practice. You may not: use the service for any illegal purpose; attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the AI systems; share your account with others; use automated systems to access the service; or engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the service.
When you use Sano, your voice recordings and text messages are processed by our AI systems. We store session data, including voice recordings, to provide feedback and power your practice history. You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a license to process it for service delivery.
Sano and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Sano and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our AI models, prompts, and training data are proprietary and confidential.
Sano is provided 'as is' without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our service will meet your specific requirements or achieve any particular learning outcomes. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. You may also request deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@coder.life.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of Sano after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
